Margie Lee Cabe Hooper

Franklin, NC - Margie Lee Cabe Hooper, age 87, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at a local nursing home. She was a lifelong resident of Macon County, born December 25, 1927; the daughter of the late Harley and Ida Elliott Cabe. She was married to Fred Junior Hooper who passed away April 11, 2013. She was a homemaker and a member of Wells Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

She is survived by four sons, Danny Hooper and his wife Karen, Jay Hooper and his wife Georgia, Ronnie Hooper and his wife Diane and Donnie Hooper and his wife Teresa; two daughters, Judy Tallent and Sue Bradley and Roger Sanders; one brother, Wiley Cabe all of Franklin; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Charles Hooper, Roy Hooper, an infant son and three great grandchildren, Cody, Zackery and Colt; one sister, Dora Lee Garrett; five brothers, Robert Cabe, Albert Cabe, Carl Cabe, Roy Cabe, Luther Cabe

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Dryman, Rev. Mark Bishop, and Rev. Alton Dendy. Burial will be held at Wells Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Cabe, Joey Hooper, Tommy Franzo, Melvin Spradlin, James Parrish and Ryan Gibson.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 9 from 1:00 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service.
