Margie Jean Pruitt

Margie Jean Pruitt, 78, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022 in Highlands. Ms. Pruitt was born February 28, 1944 in Macon County to the late Fred and Edlay Berry Pruitt. She was a homemaker and a member of Sugar Fork Baptist Church. Margie loved sewing, cooking, feeding, and enjoying time with family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Pruitt; a son, Bill Pruitt; a sister, Maxine P. Passmore; a brother, David Pruitt (Sylvia); four grandchildren, William David Woodley, Charles Lee Bradley, Bradley Shea Pruitt, and Alexandria Grace Pruitt; and a son-in-law, David Scott.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Jennings Cemetery (Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery). The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
