Margie Ruth (Webb) Mills

Margie Ruth Webb Mills, 70, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 22, 2016. Mrs. Mills was born in Douglas, County, Ga. to the late Frank Clifford Webb and Johnnie Ruth Souter Webb. She was married to the late Howard Elmore Mills who preceded her. She worked many years in the restaurant business and as a care giver. Margie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a volunteer with the Cowee Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Patricia Franklin (Mark) of Hayesville, NC; a step-son, Robert H. (Bob) Mills (Pamela) of Franklin; five grandchildren, Michael Mills, Amanda Mills, Mary Bradley, James Houston, and Larry Houston; seven great- grandchildren, Jimmy Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Cassandra Minsch, Daniel Houston, Allison Mills, Gavin Mills, and Avery McGaha.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Bryant-Grant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Harley officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Ga. on Wednesday afternoon.
