Marie Alice Sharpe

Highlands, NC and West Palm Beach, FL - Marie Alice Sharpe, 80, of Highlands, NC passed away Monday, October 7, 2013. Born in Los Angeles, CA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys Quatacker Churan. She was married to Norman Thomas Sharpe who preceded her in death in June of 2011. She was a volunteer for Holy Trinity Church in West Palm Beach, FL and The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Highlands, NC, where she was a member.

She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Clair Sharpe Martin and husband Michael of West Palm Beach, FL; two sons, Kenneth Norman Sharpe and wife Pam of Atlanta, GA and Tracy Roy Sharpe and wife Karen of West Palm Beach, FL; one brother, William aTucker of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren, Christopher, Kelly, Lisa, Tara and Troy; two great grandchildren, Trace and Matthew and one nephew Lawrence Drake.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 am at The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Highlands, NC with The Reverend Howard W. L'Enfant officiating. A reception will follow the service. A second memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in West Palm Beach, FL with a reception following the service.
