Marlene Elizabeth (Fouts) Barham

Marlene Elizabeth (Fouts) Barham, 64, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2024, after a battle with cancer.

Marlene was a Franklin native and a resident of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lillian Fouts. She was a member of First Baptist Church and also attended Burningtown Baptist Church. Marlene is survived by her husband Kyle Barham and two children, Rachel Bragg and husband Cristian La Rosa, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Joel Bragg of Poinciana, Florida. She is also survived by her twin sister Darlene McDowell (Bill), sister Linda Brogden (Mack), and brothers Steve Fouts (Elena) and Terry Fouts.

Marlene left behind a legacy of love and dedication to whomever she met. She studied nursing and spent many years working with children of all ages. She loved singing, laughing, and praying for others. Some of her favorite childhood memories were flying with her dad and beach trips with the family. Marlene had a wonderful personality and she reached out to everyone. Her kindness, love, and compassion went beyond words. She cared deeply for people from all walks of life and gave her time and energy preparing and donating food, babysitting, and loving children.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Kinard officiating. Burial will follow in the Fouts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Joel Bragg, Cristian La Rosa, Dustin Brogden, Mike Contino, Michael Peek, and Elias Peek.
