Marvin Gene Ellenburg

Franklin, NC - Marvin Gene Ellenburg, age 78, of Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012. Born in Reidsville, NC, he was the son of the late Furman Dewey and Betty Lakey Ellenburg. He was married to Carol Ann Whittington Ellenburg for 55 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Ronda Kay Hampton and her husband, Donald of Cartersville, GA; one sister, Virginia Hall of West Palm Beach, FL; one brother, Garland Ellenburg of Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren, Erin Stevens and Sean Sullivan and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
