Mary "Chick" Alice Schreiber

Mary Alice Schreiber (Chick) passed away at 3:30pm Monday, April 15, 2024 at her home, under Hospice Care. She was 93 on March 25, 2024.

She is survived by her Husband, Roger Schreiber, Franklin, NC; Daughter, Kim (& Bill) Baley, Mission Viejo, CA; Son, Bradley Schreiber, Arden, NC,  (Patty Schreiber, Pittsburgh, PA); Grandson, Vince Schreiber, Pittsburgh, PA); Granddaughter, Susan Baley (& fiance,  Stephen Gumpert), Houston, TX; Nephews & Nieces: Barry Schreiber, St. Cloud, MN; Linda Tobin, Phoenix, AZ; Curt Schreiber, Springfield, MO & Gayle Fouts, DeMotte, IN.

Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Franklin, NC.  She was a caring & loving Wife & Mother.  Mary was a member of the Otto Garden Club.  As a Member of The Friends of the Library, she worked as a volunteer for many years at their Book Store.  Her family & friends called her Chick!  She was the Life of the Party at all the family & friends 'get togethers'!  Mary was a Teacher for many years and like her students, We will miss her laugh & smiles, her cards and her encouragement!  She was our "Ray of Sunshine".
