Mary Elizabeth Beck

Mary Elizabeth Beck, 70, of Franklin, NC, passed away December 29, 2018.  She was born in Rabun County, GA, the daughter of Omie Webb of Franklin, NC and the late George Louie Webb.  She worked in housekeeping and was a Baptist by faith.  She loved to read, do puzzles, play cards and collect dolls.

Survivors include her mother, Omie Webb; three sons, Lamar Beck and James Beck both of Salem, SC and Scott Beck of Franklin, NC; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Doris Younger of Franklin, NC.  In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Webb.

A private service will be held at a later date.
