Mary Adalene Dillingham

Franklin, NC - Mary Adalene Dillingham, age 89, of Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Conley and Mae Dillingham Tallent. She was an eldercare worker and former member of Windy Gap Baptist Church. She was a loving sister, she loved people and doing for others and loved embroidery.

Mary is survived by two sisters, Ruth Tallent Wilkes of Franklin, NC and Barbara Tallent Shuler of Kingsport, TN and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Tallent Wilburn and three brothers, Don, Jack and Tommy Tallent.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. David Lee Williams officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 6:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to East Franklin Baptist Church, 2057 Lakeside Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
