Mary Esta-Lee Henson Bradley

Franklin, NC - Mary Esta-Lee Henson Bradley, age 91, of Skeenah Rd., Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 in a local nursing home. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Eulah Ledford Henson and was married to Samuel Hubert Bradley who died February 11, 1976. She was retired from Franklin High School Cafeteria with twenty-eight years service. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Freda Graves of Otto, NC; one brother, Colbert Henson of Franklin, NC and a daughter-in-law, Sue Hooper Bradley of Franklin, NC and a number of nieces and nephews along with friends that she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by one son, Hugh R. Bradley; two sisters, Winifred Littleton and Adelaide Chastain and four brothers, Sherrill Henson, Elmas Henson, John Henson, and Cleveland Henson.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Brooks and Rev. Johnny Raby officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Henson, Randy Henson, Steve Henson, Charles Henson, Michael Bradley, Jamie Henson and Randall Cowart.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Barbara O’Dell, 1095 Belle Dowdle Rd., Franklin, NC 28734.
