Mary Jo Masullo Adams

Mary Jo Masullo Adams (nee Preast) 75, passed suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday, January 22, 2023. She was born in Miami, Florida, to John Edward Preast and Pauline Yambor of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, as number 5 of 8 children. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Ray and sister Pat (brother-in-law Brian). She had 3 adult children, John, Christie, Lara (Son-in-law Shane), 8 grandchildren, Aidan, Talia, Logan, Gavin, Portia, Olivia, Vincenzo, Giovanni and nephew, Anthony, and grandnephew, Arthur. She loved children, helping people, flying airplanes (although some of her family may not have known), and she was a great cook. She had also recently grown to love these mountains since Ray had wished to retire here 4 years ago (which started with camping here as a child 50-60 years ago). She loved decorating for the holidays. She talked to almost everybody she saw, so perhaps you may have encountered her.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2023 in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
