Michael “Jersey” Merlino, 54. Jersey passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 11, 2016.

Originally from Ventnor, NJ. He landed in Highlands 20 years ago, with Arthur Paoletti giving him his fresh start he knew he found a home, this community embraced him and he embraced it and his family is eternally grateful. Jersey has been right with God for the past 20 years and was truly redeemed.

Survived by his Mother Renie Merlino, Somers Point, NJ, Brother Paul Merlino (Micki), Riverside, CA, and Nephews SSG Anthony Merlino (Nicole) US Army, Fort Riley, KS and Steven Merlino, Highlands, NC.
