Franklin, NC - Michael Lewis Schlott, age 60, of Franklin, NC passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of Mark Schlott and the late Julia Hogsed Schlott. He was a 1970 graduate of Franklin High School. Mike was a US Army Veteran. He loved fishing, boating, street rods and racing and was a maintenance supervisor at Rhodes Brothers Paving in Franklin.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Fuller Schlott; two daughters, Amelia McLamb (Greg) and Tiffany Schlott of Franklin; one brother, Joe Schlott (Gail) of Summerville S.C.; two nieces, Monica Schrader (Matt) of Conway S.C. and Whitney Baker (Shannon) of Summervlle S.C..
A memorial service will be held Tuesday February 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Reeves officiating.
The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
Bryant-Grant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
