Mildred Laflam Badger
Franklin - Mildred LaFlam Badger, 96, passed away at the Macon Valley Nursing Home in Franklin, NC. She was a native of Vermont, born October 2, 1915 in St. Albans, VT. She was the daughter of the late James and Sophia Warhurst of East Calais. She was a graduate of Montpelier Seminary in 1932. She belonged to the Rebekhas and was a past president. She retired from the National Life Insurance Co.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Earle K LaFlam; her second husband Harry D. Badger; her infant daughter, Jean LaFlam, and her youngest son, Lawrence E. LaFlam.
She is survived by her oldest son, Kenneth LaFlam and his wife, Joyce of Vancouver, WA; her daughter- in- law Nancy Martin LaFlam of Franklin, NC, along with nine grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
A small service will be preformed at the East Calais, VT Cemetery in September, 2012. In lieu of flowers, please send any memorials to hospice.
