Millie Hagan Montgomery

Highlands, NC- Mildred "Mille" Hagan Montgomery, 83, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Franklin. Mrs. Montgomery was born June 30, 1932 in Charleston, SC to the late Lee and Virginia H. Hagan. Millie was a homemaker that loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, pets, Clemson Tigers Football, but most of all her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mille was married to Charles Montgomery 65 years ago on  October 7, 1950. Millie and Charles love to travel and see the world. She was also a member of Community Bible Church in Highlands.

Survivors include her husband, Charles of the home; two daughters, Pam Hendrix (Skip) of Easley, SC, and Kim Cooley (Gregg) on Clemson, SC; six grandchildren, Leigh Ligon (Scott), Matt Hendrix, Charlie Montgomery (Julie), Katie Dobson (Matt), Austin Cooley, and Preston Cooley (Kelli); three great-grandchildren, Hagan Beach, Lily Dobson, Cora Montgomery.

Millie was preceded in death by a son, Chuck Montgomery.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Community Bible Church in Highlands with the Rev. Gary Hewins and Rev. Steve Kertoulas officiating. Entombment will follow in Pickens SC at the Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 am prior to the service at the church.
