Mrannia (Bishop) Welch

Mrannia Bishop Welch, 75, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 2, 2016. Mrs. Welch was born April 15, 1940 in Jackson County to the late Neil and Rosie R. Bishop. Mrannia was married to the late Everett Welch who preceded her in death; she was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Lucinda Holbrooks (Bobby) of Franklin; a son, Raymond Welch of Sylvia; two grandsons, Alan Puckett and Darrell Puckett; and three sisters, Bonnie Short of Brevard, Judy Bishop of Brevard, and Mylissie Roper (Howard) of Cullowhee, NC.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in the chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Swafford and Rev. Ricky Swafford officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
