Muriel "Pauline" Roberts

Muriel "Pauline" Roberts, age 88, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025. Born in Exeter, MO, to the late William and Nora Edens Neighbors.

Ms. Pauline worked in education for many years, first as an English teacher and then assisting her husband in the establishment of the Temple Heights Christian College in Tampa, FL. A devout Christian, Pauline enjoyed listening to Gospel music and singing, as well as reading her Bible and books on her Kindle. Ms. Roberts was also a talented artist who enjoyed both painting and crocheting. She was great southern cook, Pauline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her two daughters, Karen Roberts and Joy Roberts Brooks. Joy's husband - Sequoyah Thompson, Jr. Also surviving Mrs. Roberts are her five grandchildren, Bobby Brooks, Dean Roberts, Rachel Rowe, Melody Copeland, and Rajin Roberts; five great-grandchildren, James Copeland, Michael Blakeley, Sid Rowe, Karma Alexis Beavers, and John Beaver; and her cousins, Sharon, Linda, Mitchell, Rocky, David, Stan, Misty, and Barbie.

In addition to her parents and her husband of 61 years, John Gerald Roberts, Pauline was preceded in death by her sisters, Opal, Mildred, Billie, Marietta, Ellen, Donna, and Sue; and her brothers, Larry and Bruce.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 3:oo PM in the chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
