Nell M. Ledford

Franklin, NC - Nell M. Ledford, 88, of Franklin passed away Friday, October 31, 2014. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late M. T. and Lula Jean Sanders Brendle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl B. Ledford. Mrs. Ledford was a waitress, and was a member of Watauga Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Tom Hackney and wife Angelica of Idaho Falls, ID and two grandchildren, Donna Lynn Hackney and Alexandra Marie Hackney. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Grady Thomas Brendle and Furman T. Brendle.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
