Oliver "Jack" Francis Garrett

Oliver Francis "Jack" Garrett, 91, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Franklin. Mr. Garrett was born March 18, 1924 in Fulton County, GA to the late Ralph Buford Garrett, Sr. and Carrie Samples Garrett. Jack was a WWII Navy Veteran; he attended Emory University and was a retired attorney. He was of the Methodist faith and was an avid Ham Radio Operator known by his call sign as N4ESW.

A military graveside service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Canton, GA at the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at his daughter’s home in Roswell, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Dian Garrett of Braselton, GA; four daughters, Jacquelynne Perry of Canton, GA, Danielle Garrett of Braselton, GA, Samantha Poppel (David) of Roswell, GA, and Nikki Mason (Keith) of Acworth GA; and five grandchildren.
