Ollie Brown Dryman, 91, of Franklin passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem, NC. She was born in Macon County on April 16, 1925 to Lee and Dona Brown and was married to Frank Dryman who preceded her in death. She was a member of Tessentee Church of God.

Mrs. Dryman is survived by her son, Michael Dryman (Wanda) of Winston Salem; granddaughter, Bonnie Dryman of Durham; grandson, Bill Dryman (Amy) of Timberlake; great‑granddaughters, Shelby and Darby Dryman of Timberlake; sister, Alene Hollifield of Clayton and daughter‑in‑law, Linda Dryman of Scaly Mountain.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Dryman; sisters, Oma Blalock, Marie Head and Elma Billingsley and brothers, Harvey, Carl and Jim Brown.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Scaly Mountain Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 ‑ 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

The family requests that memorial gifts be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, The Hospice Foundation, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103 or a hospice fund of your choice.
