Otis Lafayette Dallas, Sr

Hayesville, NC - Otis Lafayette Dallas, Sr., 72, of Hayesville passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015. Born in DeKalb Co., GA, he was the son of Virginia Nicholson Dallas of Decatur, GA and the late Emory L. Dallas. He was a commercial painter.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sheila Barfield Dallas; two sons, Dude Dallas, Jr. and Bill Dallas both of Hayesville; six sisters, Sherry Wheeler of Jackson, GA, Mel Dallas, Anna Dallas and Linda Dallas all of Decatur, GA, Karen Gerow of Nashville, TN and Lisa Dallas of Decatur, GA; two brothers, Bill Dallas and John Dallas both of Decatur, GA and three grandchildren, Taylor Hanahan of Covington, GA, Baylie Dallas of Decatur, GA and Kacey Dallas of Conyers, GA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Lakeview Community Dock with Rev. David Wheeler officiating.
