Pallie June Elliott Talley

Mrs. Pallie June Elliott Talley, 94, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, with her family by her side.

Mrs. Talley was born May 21, 1931, in Macon, Co. NC to the late Joe Elliott and Ester Patterson Elliott. Mrs. Talley was married to the late Clyde Talley who preceded her in 1993.

Mrs. Talley worked and retired as an inspector in the furniture business and was of the Baptist faith. She loved working in yard in the flower garden, being outside, being with family, and she could make the best biscuits.

One of her favorite sayings was "It'll Be Alright".

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Pendergrass (Bruce); a son, Clarence "Sam" Talley (Wilda); eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Talley was preceded in death by a daughter, Geneva Talley Conroy; a sister, Elizabeth Sanders; and two brothers, Lester Elliott and Gene Elliott. A graveside service will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Grindstaff and Rev. Caleb Grindstaff officiating. The family will receive Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 AM prior to the service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Danny Pendergrass, Josh Pendergrass, Tony Talley, Andrew Towery, Caleb Grindstaff, and Cole Pennell.
