Patrick Ronald Milne, Sr.

Patrick Ronald Milne, Sr., 75, of Otto, NC passed away December 10, 2024. Patrick was born July 31, 1949, in Highland Park, MI to the late George and Sophie Milne.

Patrick served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the era of Vietnam, and he would earn both a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his service. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patrick also had a passion for riding motorcycles and would buy and rebuild them.

Mr. Milne is survived by his of 14 years, Marjorie Milne; his son, Patrick R. Milne, Jr. (Frances); his daughter, April Milne Vantassel; a brother, Daniel Milne; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and his stepchildren, Jessica Smith, Mary Bettencourt, Paul Bettencourt, Jr., Jason Bettencourt, Jacob Bettencourt, and Emily Amrine.

A service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phillip Cochran.
