Patty (Holland) Conley

Mary Patricia (Patty) Conley, 82, of Franklin went to be with the Lord on January, 8th, 2016.  A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Leona Higdon Holland.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harry Ed Conley, who died in 2000.

Mrs. Conley was a member of Sugarfork Baptist Church and she worked in food service with Macon County Schools.

She is survived by a sister, Francis Bryson (Charles) of Franklin; one daughter, Rebecca DeMore (Richard) of Demorest, GA; two sons, Bruce C. Conley (Sherry) of Franklin and Harry R. Conley of Raleigh, and one grandson, Justin K. Conley.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Boyd, and Mack Holland.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Brandon Breedlove officiating. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marty Conley, Dennis Conley, Calvin Conley, Terry Bradley, Raymond Holland, Matthew Breedlove and Nathaniel Breedlove. Wayne Roper will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30 to 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of Bruce Conley, 140 Jim Corbin Rd., Franklin, NC.
