Pearl Beatrice Stockton Sanders

Franklin, NC - Pearl Beatrice Stockton Sanders, age 94, of Addington Bridge Road, Franklin, NC, went to be with her family and her Lord, Tuesday, August 10, 2010. She was a native of Macon County, the daughter of the late Samuel and Rosetta Hastings Stockton. She was married to the late Roy Lee Sanders. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She loved gardening, canning and caring for her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Heflin of Maryville, TN and Jean Mills and husband James of Franklin, NC; two sons, Glenn Sanders and wife Faye of Seymour, TN and Gerald Sanders and wife Phyllis of Franklin, NC; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Don Moffitt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hll Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Sanders, Travis Sanders, Terry Hardin, Randy Heflin, Michael Lindsey and Mickey Stockton. The family will receive friends Friday, August 13, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.,one hour prior to the service, at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
