Peter Mckenzie Roberts

Franklin, NC - Peter McKenzie Roberts, 78, of Franklin passed away Monday, July 15, 2013. Born in Kings Co., NY, he was the son of the late Lewis and Francis Smart Roberts. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving from 1952-1955, and was employed in the maintenance department of an assisted living complex. He was a friend of Bill W.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sue Ellerbee Roberts; one son, Kent Roberts of Massachusetts; two step-sons, Bret Altom and wife Angela of Houma, LA and John Altom of Florida; one granddaughter, Brittany Altom and a host of friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Lewis Roberts, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:30 PM Sunday July 21, 2013 at Franklin Presbyterian Church.
