Ralph Benjamin Rogers

Franklin, NC - Ralph Benjamin Rogers, 72, of Franklin, NC passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Kermit and Ruby Ammons Rogers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Moss Rogers who died in 2003.

Mr. Rogers retired from the US Forest Service, and worked for NC Department of Transportation for 12 years after his retirement from the Forest Service. He was a loving father and grandfather and liked to hunt and fish.

Mr. Rogers is survived by two sons, Benjamin Rogers and his fiancée Donna Baker and Roman Rogers all of Franklin and three grandchildren, Tyler, Cherish and Willow Rogers. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gwendolyn Keener.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
