Randall Garth Brendle

Franklin - Randall Garth Brendle, 52, of Crossroad Lane, Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a native of Macon County, the son of Howard T. and Elsie Curtis Brendle of Franklin, NC. He was a carpenter and a member of Watauga Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Judy Robbins Brendle; a daughter, Alyson (Allie) Brendle of Franklin, NC; a son, Avery Brendle of Franklin, NC; four sisters, Betty Wiley of Stanley Co., NC, Gladys Scroggs of Charlotte, NC, Linda Sealey of Cornelia, GA and Cathy Pierce of Stanley Co., NC; one brother, Jimmy Scroggs of Waterford, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Lowe and Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery. Don Kovacs, Tom Hansell, Eddie Robbins, Melvin Mashburn, Todd Ensley and Brian Sellers will serve as pallbearers. Randy Robbins and Brett Ensley will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
