Revylon Carver

Franklin, NC - Revylon Talley Carver, age 57, of Clarks Chapel Road, Franklin, NC passed away March 4, 2008 at an Asheville Hospital. She was born in Rabun County, GA, the daughter of Minnie Leora Carver Talley of Highlands, NC and the late Lyman "Red" Talley. She owned and operated Carvers Cleaning Service. She loved going to Cades Cove to see the wildlife and doing geneology. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Hershel Carver; five sisters, Reba Webb and her husband, Bill of Walhalla, SC, Rena Carver of Seneca, SC, Rodean Wilson and her husband, David of Norcross, GA, Roberta Barnes of Neillsville, WI and Romonia Pickleseimer and her husband, Andrew of Highlands, NC; one step-son, Kenneth Carver and wife, Debbie of White Sulphur Springs, MT; five brothers, Ronald Talley and his wife, Hilda of Franklin, NC, Russell Talley and his wife, Edith of Republic of Panaman, Relton Talley and his wife, Alice of Walhalla, SC, Randolph Talley and his wife, Hazel of Mountain City, GA and Rabun Talley and his wife, Terry of Gastonia, NC; one granddaughter, Rosie Bradley and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Asa Bradley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7 at 11:00 AM at Clear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Oliver Rice and Rev. Neil Ammons officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Chris Bradley, Andrew Pickleseimer, Darryl Talley, Brad Hambrick, Bobby Parker, Richard Todd, John Webb and Bob Lambert will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 6 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home in Highlands where the body will remain until placed in the Church thirty minutes prior to service.
