Richard "Dickie" Lee Worley, Jr.

Richard "Dickie" Lee Worley, Jr, 63, of Highlands, NC passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. He was born September 16, 1953 in Ft. Benning, Georgia to Virginia Johnson Worley and the late Richard Lee Worley, Sr. and has made Highlands his home since 1964.

Dickie lived life to the fullest and he enjoyed attending Christ Church of the Valley in Cashiers.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his brother, George Worley (Cathy) of Virginia; and his sisters, Elizabeth Worley of Panama, Ruth Worley of North Carolina and Mary Lou Worley of Arizona.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, September 22, 2017 at Christ Church of the Valley with Rev. Steve Kerhoulas officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
