Robbie (Tallent) Mccoy

Robbie Tallent McCoy, 86, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024. Mrs. McCoy was born May 19, 1937, in Macon County to the late Robert Logan Tallent and Pearl Womack Tallent.

Robbie was a successful businesswoman and owned and operated Robbie's Reality, Inc for many years. Robbie loved to develop subdivisions and properties. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to travel, especially in her motor home and actually crossed our great country to San Diego, California to spend winters for over 20 years. She loved living and boating on Lake Chatuge. She was a member of Rotary, and she received the Paul Harris Fellow award. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include the love of her life, Mack Dendy of Hayesville, NC; sons, Ned McCoy, Jr. (Gail) of Dublin, OH, and Randal McCoy (Wantanee) of Lakeside, CA; three grandchildren, Ben McCoy of San Diego, CA, Michael McCoy of Charlotte, NC, and Katherine McCoy of New York City; siblings, Rance Tallent (Kathy) of Ft. Collins, CO and Brenda Ramsey of Tiger, GA; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Tallent of Charleston, SC.

In addition to her parents, Robbie was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Tallent.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Fouts and Rev. Dennis Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Ben McCoy, Michael McCoy, Keenan Tallent, Connor Hodges, Warren Tallent, and Brian Tallent.
