Robert "Bob" George Stager

Robert "Bob" George Stager, 79, of Franklin, NC, passed away  Sunday, November 3, 2019.  He was born February 28, 1940 in Miami, FL to the late Brooks Moss and Betty Jo Kruse Stager.  Mr. Stager was a US Army Veteran from 1958 to 1959. He worked and retired from advertising after many years of service.  He owned a car lot in Franklin, and was former owner of the Court House Plaza Restaurant in Franklin.  He loved golf and riding horses. Bob and his wife, Deanna  attended Franklin Covenant Church.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Deanna Stager; daughters, Anna Dee Stager of Franklin, NC and Cara Sales of Columbus, Ohio; sons, Tyson Stager of Franklin, NC and Brett Stager of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Finley Merritt Stager, Chloe Ann Tallent, Jeffrey Blake Tallent, Brenna Faith Tallent, Brooklyn LeAnn Tallent, Gage Sarnes and McKenzie Davis; two great-grandchildren; Anna Belle Sarnes and Luca Sarnes;   a sister, Diane Williams (Robert) of Helen, GA.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Stager.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Pastor John Makinson officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday evening at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
