Robert William Mayry

Mr. Robert William Mayry, 86, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022. Mr. Mayry was born on June 8, 1935 in Wayne County, Michigan. Robert worked for the telephone company many years; was of the Lutheran faith; and a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea. He loved gardening, sports, and politics. Robert was an animal lover of cats and dogs. He was a great friend to many he always had a wise word to say. He was also very proud if his Finnish heritage.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Franklin Mayry of the home; two children, Laura Frush (Kevin) and Ronnie Mayry (Trish); two step-children, Timothy S. Mabbitt and Tami J. Overly; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly and was known as Pop Pop; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by a son, Steve Mayry and a brother, Kenny Mayry.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with family.
