Robert "Bob" O'Neal

Franklin, NC - Robert "Bob" O'Neal, 70, of Otto, NC went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 5, 2013. Born in Bristol, TN, he was the son of the late Roy and Mary Lee Millsap O'Neal. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed by Sprint Telephone in the cable department. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was an active member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. O'Neal is survived by his wife of 48 years, Helen Farthing O'Neal; one daughter, Beverly Fratto of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Robert O'Neal, Jr. and wife Yvette of Port Charlotte, FL and John Michael O'Neal and wife Amanda of Clermont, FL; sisters in law Sandra Hedden and Paula Brooks; brother in law, Larry Brooks; four sisters; two brothers, and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica O'Neal.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Breedlove officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Holly Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, 366 Holly Springs Church Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
