Robert Charles Thomson Jr.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Robert Charles Thomson, Jr. of Hayesville, NC, on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Rob was born July 24, 1959, in Yonkers, New York to Rose and Robert, Sr. Rob served in in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

He enjoyed golfing and playing pickleball. He was living his best life with his loving wife, Missy, by his side. Rob was nicknamed Duda by his grandchildren, Coleson, Skylar, Paisley, Brooklyn, and T.J. who enjoyed spending time together camping and boating.

Rob is forever remembered by his wife, Missy; son, Robert C. Thomson, III (Rachel); daughters, Chelsey Mills and Tori Fair (Aaron); brother, Leonard Thomson (Cindy); sister, Regina Filiberti (David); as well as the extended family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
