Roberta (Arnold) Passmore

Roberta Mae Arnold Passmore, 79, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. Mrs. Passmore was born March 30, 1936 in Macon County to the late William Roy and Effie Leona Bates Arnold. She was a seamstress for many years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Roberta will be remembered by her family as the greatest wife, mother, and grandmother there ever was. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Henry C. Passmore; nine children, Ella O’ Brien (Joe) of Franklin, Henry A. Passmore (Katsuko) of Barstow, CA, Paul Passmore (Ruby) of New London, NC, Janie Drapeau (Kelvin) of Yuma, AZ, Rick Passmore (Tammy) of Taylorsville, NC, Lethia Shaver (Doug) of Dacula, GA, Jenny Guyer (Jimmy) of Franklin, Alice McCall (Keith) of Franklin,  and Teresa Massie (Kevin) of Clyde, NC; forty two grandchildren; 32 great‑grandchildren; and one great‑great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, Gilmer Passmore and twin infant sons.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Rodriguez and Rev. Andy Cloer officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6‑8 P.M. Tuesday evening at Bryant – Grant Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ben Rodriguez, Mitchell Bowman, John Brostson, Mikeal Bryggare, David Hasket, and James Conley.
