Romaneal "Ronnie" Hodgins

Romaneal "Ronnie" Hodgins, 80, of Franklin, NC, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026. She was born in Macon County on January 22, 1946, to the late Ed and Arlee Tallent Hodgins.

Ronnie had worked in retail sales and at CR Industries. She attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church; she loved to fish and loved to brag about her granddaughter.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Stephens; a granddaughter, Shasta Stephens Widdows (Ryan); siblings, Vada Murphy, Bryant Hodgins, Jack Hodgins, Willie Hodgins and Johnny Hodgins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Clarence Hodgins, Bryson Hodgins, Mildred Tallent and Joyce McMahan.
