Ronnie Keith Hollifield

Franklin, NC - Ronnie Keith Hollifield, age 62 of Macon County, passed away March 9, 2011 in a VA Medical Center. He was born in Towns County, GA, the son of the late Norman Hollifield and Vera Dills. He was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for Franklin Glass and was a member of Cartoogechaye Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Leigh Hollifield of Buford, GA and Melissa Hollifield Lee and husband Shannon Lee of Franklin, NC; a sister, Denise Young of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survives.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 19th at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Alton Dendy, Rev. Shannon Lee, and Bill Swift officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

The Franklin VFW Post #7339 and American Legion Post 108 will conduct complete military rites.

Memorials may be made to the Veterans Memorial Park.
