Rosie (Arnbrister) Curry

Rosie A. Curry, 88, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025. Rosie was born on January 12, 1936, in Fresno, CA, to the late Carl and Mary Eichman Arnbrister. Rosie lived most of her life in Multnomah County, Oregon, and moved to Franklin in 2015.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Rosie had been an active member of Columbia Grange; enjoyed gardening and had been an active member of the Columbian Garden Club in Troutdale, Oregon, serving as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President; and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Sylva, being a member of the church's widows club. Rosie also enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandsons, working on word searches and jigsaw puzzles, and watching Hallmark movies.

In addition to her parents, Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, James Darrell Curry; four brothers: Jacob, Daniel, Jonas, and Paul; and five sisters: Catherine, Ruth, Esther, Rachel, and Tobeia.

Rosie is survived by her son, James Curry (Beth); three grandchildren: James "JC" Curry, John "Truitt" Curry, and Justice Curry; one sister, Rebecca Sander; and one brother, John Arnbrister.

A memorial service will be held at Victory Baptist Church in Sylva on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 1 PM.
