Ruby Nell Deweese, 89, went home to be with the Lord October 13, 2026 after a period of declining health.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Willard Deweese. As well as, parents Harry and Estelle Welch and Thomas Crumpton, granddaughter Sarah Deweese and great-grandson River Bowling. Ruby served the community and the children of the Franklin area by her hard work in the school lunchrooms for 29 years.
She is survived by her daughters Becky McGaha and Kathy Nix (Robert) and son Randy Deweese (Stephanie), 8 beloved grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Burnningtown Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Brandon Crone officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM till 2:00 at the church prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
