Ruby Belvia Holland, 93, of Franklin, NC passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014. A native of Macon County, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Mary Hutchins Ramey. She was married to Furman Daniel Holland who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Holland was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved going to yard sales, making quilts, canning and making clown dolls and pouty face dolls. She was of the Assemblies of God faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Wilma Holland of Franklin; a son, Raymond Holland of Franklin; six grandchildren, Teresa Dills, Kurtis Holland, Stacey Holland, Dewayne Holland, Celina Lamb and Brandon Holland and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by a son, Steve Holland; three sisters, Evie Guffey, Kittie Guffey and Nannie Brown, and a brother, R. L. Ramey.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Don Moffitt and Rev. Alton Dendy officiating. Burial will be in Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alvin Holland, Bryant Holland, Lyman Holland, Keith Dills, Kurtis Holland and Dewayne Holland. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 1:00 3:00 pm, two hours prior to the service, at the funeral home.
