Ruby Tallent Wilburn

Franklin, NC; Rock Hill, SC - Ruby Tallent Wilburn, age 82, of Rock Hill, SC formerly of Macon County died Saturday, September 18, 2010 in a Franklin nursing home. A native of Franklin, NC she was the daughter of the late Jeff and Mae Dillingham Tallent. She was married to Guy Wilburn who passed away in 2002. She was a member of Windy Gap Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Gail Thomas of Rock Hill, SC, Kathy Miller and Pam Watts both of Franklin, NC; two sons, Rick Wilburn and Ronnie Wilburn both of Rock Hill, SC; three sisters, Ruth Wilkes and Adalene Dillingham both of Franklin, NC and Barbara Shuler of Kingsport, TN and one brother, Don Tallent of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Tallent and Tommy Tallent and one grandchild, Justin Wilburn.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. David Williams and Rev. Robert Dryman officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Rock Hill, SC at Grandview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
