Sarah Angeline Beale

Franklin, NC - Sarah Angeline Beale, age 85, of Franklin, NC passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Mountain Trace Nursing Center in Sylva. She was a native of Macon County, the daughter of the late Alex Ammons and Margaret Ann Leatherman Ammons. She was married to Harry A. Beale who passed away in 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of Ellijay Missionary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two sons, Ronnie Beale and his wife Cissy of Franklin, NC and Richie Beale and his wife Dee of Black Mtn., NC; one sister, Nancy Locklear of Winston Salem, NC; five grandchildren, Kristi Culpepper and her husband, Joe of Franklin, NC, Christopher Beale of Pasedena, TX, Cara Beale of Equador, Evan Beale of Jefferson City, TN and Barrett Beale of Franklin, NC. Two great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Rogers, Emma Ray and Hazel Dills and one brother, Edison Ammons.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 5, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Cloer and Rev. Tommy Fouts officiating. Burial will be at Ellijay Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Gary Dills, Randall Dills, Harold Ammons, Evan Beale, Barrett Beale and Joe Culpepper will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 4 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home.
