Shelia Barnes

Shelia Harrell Barnes, 70, passed away unexpectedly, in her home Wednesday morning, November 2025.

Her beloved brother, Barry Harrell, joined her in passing just hours later, a peaceful reunion beyond this life.

Mrs. Barnes was born September 18, 1955 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Walter M. Harrell and Marian Parker Harrell.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Ronald Kent Barnes.

Shelia, a true artist, held a lifelong love for art, music and writing. She loved to sing and play guitar, walk the family dog, Daisy, spend time with her family and neighbors as well as her special friends Aaliyah Fisher and River.

Shelia is survived by her daughter, Shelia Sedeno Wells, son-in-law Kevin; four grandchildren, Gabriel Barber and his wife, Jenny, Sean Kuipers, Isaiah Wells and Ian Wells; two great-grandchildren, Clint and Cody Barber; a brother, Robin Harrell and his wife Mardi, Emily, the wife of her brother Barry, many cousins, including Joy Parker and Alton Parker Jr. whom she shared many memories with from their younger years.

A private service will be held at a later date.
