Sheryl Ann (Gilmore) Scott

Mrs. Sheryl Ann Gilmore Scott went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2024, at The Hermitage in Dillsboro, NC.

Born March 1, 1956, at Camp Pendleton, California. At the age of 3 she moved to Sebring, Florida. She was the daughter of Gail Strome.

Surviving is her husband, Charles Edward Scott of Sylva, NC; A daughter, Joanna Lannon; two sons, Tim and Roger Gilmore; and six grandchildren; A brother, Scott Lofton; and a sister, Collen Drew.

Sheryl was a member of the Watauga Baptist Church. She loved to attend church when she could.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. Thomas James and Rev. Randy Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
