Spencer Jacob Caffee

Spencer Jacob Caffee, age 20, of Asheville, NC, formerly of Franklin, NC, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 16, 2016.  He was born in Escambia County, FL, the son of Heather Bell Alexandre.

He loved hiking, swimming, and the outdoors, he also loved playing the guitar, and basketball.  Spencer dreamed of becoming a dentist. He was loving and kind hearted.  He was of the Baptist faith and formerly attended Iotla Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Heather Alexandre (Ken Gordon) of Franklin; a daughter, Elise (Kiki) Caffee of Franklin; sisters, Caitlin Jones of Nevada, Miranda Caffee, Avery Shirley, both of Franklin, and Kimberly Deflice of South Carolina; brothers, Chris Lauffer, Adam Lauffer, Joshua McGaha and Larry Nesbit all of Franklin.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 ‑ 5:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
