Stephen Eugene Ross

Stephen Eugene Ross, 56, of Highlands passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018.  Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, he was the son of Eugene Thomas and Shirley Myers Ross.

Mr. Ross worked for many years at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC. He was very gifted with animals and reptiles. After becoming a Christian he sought ways to serve the Lord.

Survivors include two sisters, Laura Wolverton (Kim) of Winston Salem and Kathleen Ross Bryden of Florida; two nieces; one nephew and two great‑nieces.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Highlands First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Kim Wolverton officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 ‑ 7:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
