Franklin, NC - Suzanne Allison Usher Herman, age 41, of Franklin, NC passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012. Born in Tolland Co., CT, she was the daughter of the late Robert Usher and Louise Valois Boruch and step-father, Henry Boruch of Apopka, FL. She was a dispatcher for Macon County Emergency Services for five years. She was a graduate of Oviedo High School; a crime scene investigator for ten years for Seminole County Sheriffs Office, liked to read, sing, garden, writing and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She attended Mt. Hope Baptist Church and Prentiss Church of God.
In addition to her mother and step-father, she is survived by one daughter, Savannah Herman of Franklin, NC; one son, Cody Herman of Franklin, NC, one sister, Lisa Smith of Chesapeake, VA; two brothers, John Usher of Apopka, FL and Michael Boruch of Portsmouth, VA and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by extended family members, Jackie Herman, Mackenzie Herman and David and Stacy Herman all of Franklin, NC.
Memorial services will be Friday, March 2, 2012 at 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends, Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, two hours prior to the service, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jackie Sheehan Foundation or Shop with a Cop, c/o Macon County Sheriffs Department, 1820 Lakeside Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
Bryant-Grant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
