Sylvia D. Edwards

Franklin, NC - Sylvia D. Edwards, age 71, of Franklin, NC, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Foister Baird Davis and Eleanor Benning Davis, and was the widow of the late Jesse James Edwards, II. She had worked as a customer service representative for Olin Mills Photography and was of the Methodist faith. She was involved with the foundation for The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan B. Barker and husband Eddie, of Chattanooga, TN, two sons, Jason Justin Edwards and wife, Susan Marie Eipper of Franklin, NC, and Jesse James Edwards, III and wife Kristina of Pensacola, FL; five grandchildren and one great grandchild also survives.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 3:00 pm,Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Bryant Grant Funeral Home, and from 1:00 till 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN; the service beginning at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Bruce Sloan officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
