Teresa Ann (Rice) Laws

Teresa Ann Laws, 66, of Franklin, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Teresa was born March 4, 1958, in Macon County, NC to Mildred Tallent Rice and the late Coburn Lewis Rice.

She was a Christian by faith and lived a simple life. She worked as a CNA in nursing at Britthaven Nursing Home and Adult Care Center. Teresa enjoyed camping and spending time with family. She loved cats and crafting especially making Christmas trees.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Jamie Lynn Laws, and a son, Robert Shane Laws; a sister, Debra Gribble (Jacob); a niece, Alisha Ammons (Jessie); a nephew, Tristan Ammons (Abrianna); aunts, uncles and cousins.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Franklin House, especially Lexi, Katie, Nick, Misty, Latosha and Joan.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home, with Rev. George Lee and Rev. Conner Turpin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm before the service at the funeral home.
